Zig Ziglar


Zig Ziglar was an American motivational speaker and sales coach. He inspired people to be positive and goal-oriented in order to achieve success through focused work.

Zig Ziglar said so over and over and over, and he made a fine living doing it. For more than 40 years he traveled the nation and the world as a motivational speaker, stirring corporate groups with his distinctive blend of sound-bite optimism, country wit, Christian faith and good-natured nudging for people to see the bright side of life. The Ziglar Way, he called it.

His message was spread through speeches at corporate retreats, sales seminars, and public events as well as through more than two dozen books, recordings, and podcasts. Ziglar began working as a salesman in the mid-1940s and by the 1950s was giving sales-training talks; in about 1970 he launched his own company to offer training in sales, business, and personal development.
